Wherescape Red

Internally at TAH, as with most organisations, we have a number of everyday (line of business) systems holding resource scheduling, client details, support ticket, marketing and finance data and like most management teams ours wants a coherent and consistent management reporting solution utilising data from all of these.

In order to tackle this problem we used our own 24 hour Data Mart challenge to develop an initial prototype solution using the WhereScape RED Data Warehouse Life Cycle toolset. This allowed us to rapidly deliver a prototype with which our management team could interact and from which we could develop our complete monthly management reporting pack.

This has since been built upon to draw additional data from external sources such as Salesforce.com and a combination of Microsoft CRM, a bespoke database and several Excel spreadsheets in order to deliver a marketing campaigns reporting solution.

As mentioned previously, all this functionality has been built using a combination of the WhereScape RED toolset and Microsoft SQL Server.
